Maronda Homes has just completed a new “Bedford” model home in Magnolia Glynn.  Magnolia Glynn is Maronda Homes’ latest new home community in Jacksonville, Florida.  This great new west side community features Maronda’s signature concrete block, single family homes.  This centrally located community is close to schools, shopping, and is convenient to interstate 295 as well as the new “outer beltway” that is planned in the near future.  It is only minutes from downtown, while retaining a relaxed country atmosphere.

Due to the fact that Maronda has been building homes in Florida since 1972, they have gained a lot of insight into what families are looking for in a home.  Maronda has taken much of the input received from their past buyers and incorporated it into this plan.

The Bedford comes standard as a 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath plan and provides almost 2400 square feet of living area.  What makes this plan great is its flexibility, it can be modified to have 4, or even 5, bedrooms with 3 ½ bathrooms.  One of the bedrooms can be configured as a guest suite with full bathroom, located on the first floor.  It also allows for the option of having the laundry room upstairs instead of the normal downstairs location.  The plan comes standard with a loft on the second floor that works great as a secondary family TV area, home office, or kids media/homework area.  The flexibility of this plan is not limited to the living areas, there is a 3-car garage option (lot permitting) and it comes in 4 different elevations, even a stone accented front.  The “V” elevation (which is the elevation of the new model) offers a very traditional design that features a large front porch.

Once you have customized the layout and selected the appropriate configuration of your new Bedford home, you are not done!  Maronda offers a full array of designer colors, finishes, and upgrade options.  Some of these include crown molding, custom paint colors, wood flooring, tile flooring, granite counter tops, and upgraded cabinetry in the latest colors and finishes.  As with all of Maronda’s homes, the Bedford plan features concrete block construction, which offers superior energy efficiency, low maintenance, and durability.  Most importantly, concrete block construction provides great protection from storms and termite damage, yet also costs less to insure than wood frame constructed homes.

Come by and see the new Bedford model at Magnolia Glynn today.  It is furnished and decorated to show the possibilities available with this plan.  For more information you can call Miguel Milla at 904-777-4096 or visit online by clicking here.
