Building is Better than Renting in Pittsburgh

2. Buyers and builders have more control over their property. When you live on a rental property, you are the whim of your landlord. If you have a great landlord, then you might not worry. But you still do not have control over paint color, carpeting, layout, or even what you can hang on the walls and how you can hang it. There are thousands of restrictions when renting that you never have if you buy a home.

3. Buying is cheaper, not just in the long run, but in the short term, too. Most people continue to rent simply because they do not think they can afford to buy a home. The truth is, however, that buying a home is more affordable now than it has been in previous years and that the majority of people actually pay less for their mortgage each month than they would for a rented space.
